Thump I land on the ground after jumping of the rocks at the start of the cave. This part of the cave was very roomy and looked lovely except for one big drop near the edge! It was pretty scary. There was a lot of leaves and not much rocks. Then the cave got  smaller and became a tight fight. I came upon two rocks jamed together. Martin told us that we had to squeeze through the rocks to the other side. I watched the others go through and then it was my turn so I wriggled my way through and popped out the other side.

I had to climb up onto some rocks and swing my feet over to another rock. There was grit on the rocks and it was rubbing against my hands and dust was getting in my eyes. Miss Hill told me to put my hands on the bar that went around the edge of a humongous drop. I shone my torch done the drop and couldn’t see the bottom. That made me more nervous. My feet shuffled along and I moved my hands across on the bar. I launched myself onto another rock where my dad was waiting. My dad helped me get past some slippery places then he sent me down to tony.

Tony helped my climb on top of the rocks and slide down the other side. When I landed I nearly slipped over because there was some slippery mud or bat poo I wasn’t quite sure. There wasn’t much to look at I looked down and I could barely see my shoes because they were covered in so much mud but I could see Grant in the light of my torch.  I walked over to Grant who was standing in the middle of bat poo that looked exactly like mud. It stunk horrible! The smell got worse and worse when you got further into it. My feet were getting stuck in the poo and trust me it wasn’t that nice. There was also leafs mixed in with the poo. Trudging my way through the mud I saw a ladder. Craig told me to climb the ladder up to Miss Garland.

I shot up the ladder and walked back to where everyone was. We got a lollipop to eat well we waited for everyone else to finish. Caving was a lot of fun and for me was probably the best thing about camp and camp was awesome as well. It was the best camp ever.

Maui and the North Island

Maui stood behind the door listening to his four foster brothers talking about going fishing and maui not coming with them. He listened to them give details about what time they were planning on leaving. Early in the morning Maui snuck into their canoe and waited for his brothers. An hour later Maui heard his brothers hop into the canoe. Maui could here them talking about how they had just tricked Maui, but they really hadn't because Maui was still in the canoe. Slowly Maui felt the boat stop but Maui didn’t want to stop here so he pounced out of his hiding place and gave his brothers the fright of their life. “Keep going keep paddling,” commanded maui. The brothers followed his orders and kept paddling all through the night, finally Maui told the brothers to stop paddling because he wanted to fish here. The brothers listened to his commands and stop paddling but the brothers refused to give Maui bait as revenge for him hiding in the canoe. So Maui struck himself on the nose as and smeared the blood on his magic jawbone and launched it into the water. It made a splash and sunk deeply into the water. Then Maui felt his jawbone get stuck in something. Maui thought that it was just a fish but it was really a carving from a marae. He pulled and pulled but the carving put up a fight and didn’t want to come out of the water.. The carving was strong but not as strong as Maui's will Maui said his karakia and the carving came out of the water. “I need to find my jawbone said Maui,” he told his brothers not to do anything to his catch. When Maui was out of sight the brothers started to get there share because they did help with the paddling. When Maui got back the brothers had made valleys on the carving. You might of traveled to this carving because it is the north island of New Zealand.  looks kind of like a beaten stingray don't you think?

A big bandage gets wrapped around my head. “Can I play now,” I ask. “I don't know,” I here my mum say But then the next thing I know I’m back on the field and taking a penalty. as I slot it into the top corner I say “yes my team Maycenvale are gonna win,”.

Holiday Homework Shared Writing

Tottenham Hotspurs Symbol.
Me: Today was the day that Tottenham was playing against Bayern Munich in the Semi Final of the Champions League. The other Semi Final was Borussia Dortmund against FC Barcelona.
The line up for Tottenham was, Hugo Lloris,Kyle Naughton,William Gallas Captain,Jan Vertonghen,Kyle Walker,Aaron Lennon,Moussa Dembele,Gylfi Sigurdsson,Gareth Bale,Clint Dempsey and Jermain Defoe. For Bayern Munich the line up is Manuel Neuer,Jerome Boaetang Philip Lahm C,Prince,Daniel Van Buyten,Bastian Schweinsteiger,Toni Kroos,Thomas Muller,Arjen Robben,Mario Gomez and Franck Ribery.It will be a very close game.

Dad: This is the second leg of the semis. The result of the first leg at Anzelle Anzarena (Bayern Munich's home) Was 1 All. This game was at White Hart Lane (Tottenham's home). It was the Decider. The star player for Tottenham is Gareth Bale and for Bayern Munich Philip Lahm who is  also the Captain of Bayern Munich.

Mum: As the teams walk out the crowds cheer, you can feel the excitement in the voices of the commenters . The Captains do the coin toss and the teams shake hands the game is about to get underway. What a game it will be, I can't wait for the game to start. It looks like the managers are very nervous.They will be wondering if all that time they have spent practicing will pay off.Everyone is in position waiting for the whistle to start this amazing 90 minutes of Football.

Dad: The whistle blows and Defoe starts the game with a pass to Dempsey. Amidst roar from the stands. With the Spurs (Tottenham) fans singing When the Spurs go marching on it lifted the team and Gareth Bale crossed the ball in and a header from Dembele hits the post and the Keeper raps the ball up. Spurs are dominating this wonderful game.

Me: Then a counter attack from Bayern Munich a shot from Mario Gomez and a Brilliant save from Lloris. This game is really heating up. Ouch Jermain Defoe has been taken down by Prince. The Ref pulls out the red card it is a penalty to Tottenham but Defoe is injured. He has to be subbed off and Harry Kane comes on. Harry is very fast and he is very good at shooting. The Ref blows the whistle and Dempsey runs up slots the ball into the top corner 1 nile to Tottenham and now for the end of the first half a fifteen minute break and then the game will resume.

Daniel (My Brother): The ref blows the whistle, as Mario Gomez aka Super Mario Gomez passes the ball to Thomas Muller, Muller plays an delightful pass to Ribery who brings it down on his with an amazing first touch on his chest. Ribery runs at the defence terrorising Kyle Walker as he cuts inside and lays the ball to Bastian Schweinsteiger, as Schweinsteiger goes to smash a ferocious shot, Dembele slides in from behind giving away a foul on the edge of the eighteen yard box and collecting a yellow card.

Tash(My Sister): Thomas Muller cuts through the ball perfectly placing it in the top right corner of the goal, Hugo Lloris manages to make a stunning attempt getting his fingertips to the ball but it isn’t enough, the ball hits the back of net sending the Bayern Munich fans into a fury of excitement. They are back in the game with only 5 minutes left to play.

Me: Off the kick off Dempsey plays it out to Lennon who passes it down the middle to Harry Kane. Kane rainbow flicks Van Buyten and unleashes a shot on the edge of the box and its in. Kane runs over to his teammates and they start dancing to celebrate. The Ref blows his whistle its game over Tottenham win how great. The result of the other game was a win to Borussia Dortmund. So Spurs v Borussia Dortmund in the final.   



 Harry Kane

One day three boys called Josh Henry and Matthew halford. The three boys were all very sporty and were alike. They all loved to have fun and party. “Tonights going to be awesome,” Matt said enthusiastically, that's because tonight they were sleeping over at Joshs. “We've got popcorn,fizze and were getting meat lover pizza,” Josh said. At five o'clock Josh opened the door and in charged Matt. About five minutes later in comes Hen “the party is officially started,” screamed Hen. After two hours of partying things got spooky.    The door started to open and close the windows locks came of to make it worse there was thunder lightning and rain. Then a dark green face appeared and all of the boys saw it. The three boys started to float “No were getting dragged away and the pizza isn't coming noooooo,” Matt said sadly. “Who cares about the pizza we are getting dragged into the storm,” Hen yelled. The three boys were flying straight into a humongous tornado. “Ahhhhhhhhhhhh,” the boys screamed as they flew into the tornado in the tornado was that horrible green face,it was stearing right at the boys now it was getting really creepy. Then the boys saw the body of the green skeleton face what was happening. The body was misty and looked like the skeleton was moving towards them. “The body and the face this time is moving towards us what are we going to do,”. “My name is brodie I am the misty skeleton now you must defeat me,”. The boys pulled out of their pockets a 50 cent mix a 2 dollar coin and a little soccer ball. First Matt threw the lollies and Brodie just ate them. So Henry threw the two dollars and Brodie just caught it. Then Josh threw the mini soccer ball and Brodie the soccer loving skeleton ran after it and he pulled a lever and the boys went back to Joshs place and it was back to normal “we saw a green skeleton right ,” said Matt “We did,”said Josh and Hen. “The time must of frozen because its still 7.30 that's awfully spooky,” said Josh. Then another weird thing happened all of the rugby and soccer balls in hastings came flying through the walls at top speed and whacked the boys in the face. When the boys got up they all were in a dungeon with sports gear all over them and they had a mind of their own. The gear grew arms and started punching the boys. The boys kicked into action Matthew grabbed a f50 sport boot and kicked the rugby balls away,well Matt was doing that Hen was ripping the sport clothes. Josh put on some nike soccer boots and kicked the soccer balls away the boys were fighting evil sports gear well having fun. Then a rugby ball bit Matt he screamed as loud as a girly girl like usual. So Matt bit it back and the ball just went flat it looked like a dog had been chewing on it for a week but Matt has teeth as sharp as a tiger. Matt thought that bitting all the balls would get the boys free so Matt bit away and soon enough all of the balls were deflated. The room was empty except for the three boys all on their own. But the room they were in wasn't Joshs house it was a evil lair “oh no,” Said Hen worriedly. Then a evil little midget scientist walked into the room. He waved his hands in front of a golden ball and turned toward the ball and then lightning headed straight for the boys. The lightning just missed the boys and when it hit the wall the hole room exploded. The boys went threw a little purple spiral and when they were in the spiral they saw welcome to purple spiral where everything is purple written in purple. The boys saw a purple tiger and a purple lion having a little rumble. They also saw a purple chicken getting chased by a purple ferret “Poor little purple chicken,” said Matt sadly “Even I feel sorry for the chicken,” Said Josh. Then they reappeared at Josh's house but this time it was morning and Matt and Hen were at their own home. So everything was back to normal in the small town of Hastings where everything wasn't purple. The town wasn't controlled by sports gear or have green soccer loving skeletons that live in tornados. That is because Hastings is normal.

Mad Morning!!!

                                           Mad morning!!!
“Get up josh”! Yells mum. “What I thought it was the school holidays wait no its not” I reply as I sprint out to the bathroom. I turned the shower on. I waited for the water to heat up but dad must of had a long shower before he went to work. No shower for me then.

I need to get dressed. So I run up to my room then I chuck on my jockeys and then I realize my top and shorts are on the clothesline oh no. So I run outside to get my clothes.In a flash the neighbour draws the curtains and that doesn't help me. Rebecca my neighbour started to wave with a weird look on her face. I quickly grabbed my clothes and ran inside. Very quickly  I put my clothes on.

I went to make me some toast. I put the bread in the toaster and when it was ready I put the jam on. When I started to eat my toast I dropped it and the toast fell down my shirt leaving a trail of jam,come on! Luckily I have two shirts so I put my spare one on.

Then clang mum must of dropped a plate its a bad morning for all of us. I walk out after have brushed my teeth. “Let's head of now josh”said mum. We start to head of and then when we turn onto howard street and I realize I forgot my laptop. Miss G will go crazy, I can imagine her ssaying “You forgot your laptop ahhhhhhhhhhh,”. It will be like shes on a sugar high. That would be funny to see Miss G on a sugar high. It will be crazy and I will be working on paper today.

We turn up at school and I go to my tottray and pull out my books. Then the bell rung I pressed against my book oops this doesn't have a on button. This mornings been weird actually its been a mad morning. But it wasn't over yet I went to go to maths but I ended up spending the whole lesson with room 2. But maths was easy I knew my basic facts what was Miss Hill thinking. She must of been out of her mind. It was very wacky. I hope the afternoon is a bit better actually a lot better.

Ahhhhhhhhhh as I stretch my arms out as wide as they can go I feel the urge to run to the lounge as fast as I can so I do. When I get to the lounge I find i'm the second awake because my dad gets up at five o'clock. The reason why dads awake so early is because he starts work at 6.30. But this morning I woke up and saw that it was only five o'clock. Oops I forgot to set my clock for daylight savings. Who cares the earlier you wake the better the day well thats what I think. ‘ I'm going to let the cats in’. When the cats come in there's always excitement. First they started to have a fight they look like they are in the washing mischen when they roll round and round. “Go whisky no i mean go mittens just both hit each other” I said . Krrrrrrrrrrrrr is all you can her because whiskeys claws are scraping in the floor might want to pick him up. After they finish fighting whisky usually runs and jumps on the arm of the couch. Then he jumps over your head onto the other arm. Then he jumps onto the floor and runs jumps over the table and lands on the lino wow. Mittens starts to clean whiskey it is so so cute. I was getting a bit tired though. Then I see my dad ‘ hello there’ I say ‘why are you up so early dad asks’ ‘Because I forgot to set the clock for daylight savings’. ‘ You really are silly aren't you’ dad replies. ‘ Well i'm off to work he says’. I look at the clock mum will be up soon. Then mum walked into the lounge. I looked at the clock and it was 6.45 I've been out here since 5.00 what a long morning.

          

Buddy Writing.

There once was a ship called the Rock . At eleven o'clock at night the ship crashed into some rocks. People scampered of the boat and only three made it off they were called Tyrin Henry and Josh. They needed to find safety all the could see was a little old wood hut. So they ran inside all that they could see was 4 skeleton's “at lest we've got company’ Henry said. “I wonder how long they've been here for” I said creeeeekkkk “what was that” Hen said worriedly just the floor.Hey at least we have somewhere to stay Tyrin said happily” me and Henry turned away and then nek minute Tyrin was gone. All that was left was muddy footprints spooooky. Then we saw the hatch on the ground was open. Me and Hen quickly jumped down the hatch SMACK! we had landed ‘ouch that hurt’ I said painfully.It was a dark black room i shone the torch on the ground and more muddy foot prints, someone was here. “Tyrin where are you” we called no reply “Josh hen are you here” “was that Tyrin” said hen. ‘Lets follow the muddy footprints’ I said so we did we followed them around until we figured out we were just going in circles and then a hand tapped me on the shoulder ‘get away’ I screamed as loud as loud as a baby . But it was Tyrin” “hello there”he said ‘lets climb back up the ladder over there’ ‘there was a ladder we jumped down’ ‘yep you did’ so we climbed up the ladder ‘who's foot prints were they’ i said. ‘They were mine’ Tyrin said ‘What but you were taken by someone else’ ‘no i wasn't’.  ‘I stood on some mud then the floor started to creek then I felt the wood moving KABOOM I hit the floor. Then I wandered around that's what left the muddy footprints you were as  scared as a mouse being chased by a cat weren't you’ Tyrin said ‘but your safe now lets get of this island’. So we all ran out of the hut and picked up some sticks and wrote SOS in the sand about two hours later a helicopter flew over the island and stopped and landed on the island get in the driver said lets go home hoooray we all said.
