Year 6 camp

Last week we went to year 6 camp. Year 6 camp was about biking to places we biked to Havelock pools then the sound shell in Napier then to Frimley park. This camp was a reward for being awesome year 6s.

At Havelock pools there was a pool over 2 metres deep this pool was for bombs and dives. There also was the fighting pole where Jewell was probably the champ she was pretty strong. After a little while the life guards brought out a bouncy castle that had obstacles on it. They also wet it to make it harder the quickest time was . The parents and teachers also ran sports games.

The next day we biked into a headwind to Napier. It was pretty hard and we all made it so it was a great achievement. When we got there we did a scavenger hunt and then came back. In the scavenger hunt we got 5 dollars as a group to buy something Christmasy my group brought some Santa hats.

On Friday we biked to Frimley park. Then we walked next store to Lindisfarne and swam in their pool. We played some volleyball to. We did relays in the pool and all of the teams got disqualified. Mr Cotterells team got disqualified because he did an illegal kick in breaststroke. Then we biked back to school which meant that bike camp was over.

The camp days were pretty fun and the nights were really fun Reece Sam H and I stayed up really late. My highlight was the Havelock pools it was really fun on the bouncy castle and playing basketball. My lowlight was biking to Napier in a head wind but it was still awesome that I did it. Overall out of ten I give this camp a 7 out of ten it would of been funner if it didn't rain so much.
